52 ■ THE WOLFPACKER BASKETBALL PREVIEW 2019-20 ANALYSIS Bryce had a successful first season in the ACC and was one of the Pack's more consistent performers in conference play. He actually averaged more points per game in league action (12.0) than he did for the season (11.6). Now as one of the oldest players on the team and the one who has been with head coach Kevin Keatts the longest, dating back to his two seasons spent together at UNC Wilmington before following Keatts to Raleigh, he is being counted upon to be one of NC State's leaders. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS After sitting out a season, Bryce was the Pack's third-leading scorer in 2018-19 at 11.6 points per game … Was second on the team in rebounding (4.6 boards per contest) and led the Pack with 40 steals … Had a season-high 23 points in a win at Notre Dame and scored 21 in a victory at Pittsburgh … Averaged 14.7 points per game in three NIT contests, and had a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds in a first-round win over Hofstra … Prior to arriving at NC State, was a first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection as a sophomore after leading UNCW in scoring at 17.4 points per game … Helped UNCW repeat as CAA champions and reach the NCAA Tournament while compiling a 29-6 record … Had three double-doubles that season … Scored a career-high 28 points in a win over Towson … Made the CAA All-Rookie team as a freshman when he finished third among rookies in the conference in scoring (10.1 points per contest) and rebounding (4.2 boards per game) … Had 16 points in the NCAA Tournament loss to Duke that year … Averaged 24.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as a senior at North Mecklenburg High en route to being named Meck- lenburg County Player of the Year.
