NOVEMBER 2019 ■ 47 BASKETBALL PREVIEW 2019-20 PAT ANDREE 31 Sr. • Colts Neck, N.J. • 6-8 • 220 F ANALYSIS Andree is a graduate transfer from Lehigh who is an ideal fit at power forward for NC State because of his ability to shoot the three-pointer. He should particularly help take some of the shoot- ing load off junior guard Braxton Beverly. He is likely to contend right away for a starting role and major minutes. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS As a junior at Lehigh, he was fifth in the Patriot League in three- pointers made (70) and eighth in three-point shooting percentage (41.9) … Scored in double figures in 22 games and had more than 20 points three times, including a career-high 31 in a road win at Monmouth … Had two double-doubles … Grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in a win at Boston University … As a sophomore, was fourth in the league in three-point shooting percentage (42.9 percent), and in conference-only stats was No. 1 at 48.7 percent … Scored in double figures 21 times and had three double-doubles … As a freshman, tied a school record with 10 made three-pointers (on 12 attempts) during a home win over St. Francis (Pa.) … Played his high school basketball at Christian Brothers Academy where he left as the all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,987 points … Averaged 25.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while shooting 45.0 percent from three-point land as a senior. If he had accomplished that at NC State, he would already rank seventh all time in three- pointers made for the Wolfpack and be on pace to easily climb into third by the end of his senior year.
