56 ■ THE WOLFPACKER BASKETBALL PREVIEW 2019-20 ANALYSIS Head coach Kevin Keatts probably did not want to go through a season with just two post players like he did a year ago, so Dixon was brought in as a graduate transfer during the offseason to help ensure that didn't happen again. Presuming that suspended red- shirt junior D.J. Funderburk returns to the lineup at some point, he will help provide valuable depth in the post. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Played all 32 games, starting 16 of them, for University of Mis- souri at Kansas City last season … Had a career-high 16 points in a loss at Utah State … In an early season loss at Connecticut, had 15 points and six boards in 23 minutes … Played his high school ball at Grosse Pointe South High where he averaged 19.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game, while shooting 56.0 percent from the field as a senior.
