Members of the Virginia lacrosse family were inducted into the state's Lacrosse
Hall of Fame March 16 — current associate head coach Marc Van Arsdale, and
former players Jack Darrell, Steve Kraus and Rich Werner.
Straight years that the women's swimming and diving team has finished
among the NCAA's top 20. The Cavs placed 18th this season.
The Cavaliers had seven finalists, including one champion (first-year George
DiCamillo), and a program-record nine grapplers who qualified for the NCAA
Tournament at the 2013 ACC Championships.
The defending national champion Virginia rowing team opened the 2013
season ranked No. 1 in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches' Association/USRow‑
ing Coaches' preseason poll, which marked the 11th time the program was ranked as
the nation's best. The Cavs checked in at No. 5 in the updated May 1 listing.

Straight years that a Virginia football player has been selected in the NFL
Draft, which is tied with Florida State for the second-longest streak in the
ACC. Fourth-year offensive lineman Oday Aboushi was selected by the New York Jets
in the fifth round of this year's event with the 141st overall pick.
Was the winning time in the 10,000 meters for sixth-year Catherine White at the
2013 ACC Outdoor Championships. White is the fifth woman in conference history to
repeat as the event's gold medalist.
