  basketball recruiting Michigan's chances start with getting him on campus for an official visit. Jordan Barnett (6-7, Rivals.com's No. 85 senior nationally): The St. Louis native is waiting on a Michigan offer after a great unofficial visit, but Beilein needs to see him play first. The soonest that can happen will be end of July when Beilein gets back from Russia with the World University team. "They just made a run with a very young team," Barnett said earlier this summer. "That shows the coaches know how to mature players." Texas, Michigan State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Iowa and Missouri have already offered. Barnett enjoyed an outstanding unofficial visit to U-M with his mother last month, one he called among his best to date. "I feel they are pretty interested, but they said specifically I couldn't get offered until Coach Beilein saw me play," he said. "I'll go to the Orlando Super Showcase, so that might be it." Barnett expects to narrow his list at the end of July. He'd like to decide "sooner that later," though he won't make a hasty decision.
