basketball recruiting make them better each year." The Franklin, Ohio, native said the plan has always been to announce after his junior season, but there's a possibility those plans could change. "The ones involved, it would be tough to overcome them because I've been to Michigan a lot," he said. "I've been to Ohio State a lot, and North Carolina. It can be tough, but you never know." Jalen Coleman (6-3, Rivals.com's No. 30 junior nationally): The former Indianapolis Cathedral star, now at the LaLumiere School in LaPorte, Ind., is one of the most coveted shooting guards in the Midwest. He averaged 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists for a Cathedral team that was 25-6. He might be the top player in his class in Indiana. Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Memphis, Arizona, Providence, Illinois and Cincinnati had offered as of mid-July. The U-M tender was big for him. "I'm thankful," Coleman said. "It's a blessing to be wanted by a college team that advanced to the national championship and competed with the best and almost won it. "A top-50 player in the class of 2015, Brunson is a heady competitor who is a very dangerous playmaker because of his ability to change speeds, understanding how to use his body and awareness of spacing. While not a true speed merchant, Brunson is deceptively quick, and his above-average jump shooting forces defenders to crowd him, which puts them at his mercy off the dribble." Michigan has offered, as have Virginia, Illinois, Purdue and Xavier. U-M, Illinois and Virginia are recruiting him the hardest, he said, and he loved his Michigan visit. "The facilities were great, but the most important thing was I got a better understanding of the relationship I want to have with my coach," he said. "Coach Beilein is one of the coaches I really like. I really like his philosophy." Class of 2015 Targets Some rising junior prospects are likely to receive offers should they visit campus: Dwayne Bacon (6-6, Rivals.com's No. 22 junior nationally): Florida State, Central Florida, South Florida, Vir-
