have a lot of character and are great people and guys that we want
around our families and we want to have lifetime relationships with.
"It's just kind of happened — I don't want to say even unintentionally,
because it's just kind of the fabric of who we are. For whatever reason,
we find guys that are like-minded and we're all on the same page, and
we know we all need each other."
Michigan's postseason run was a whirlwind, but May still took a mo-
ment to pose his entire team of like-minded individuals — coaches,
players and support staff — on the court with the NCAA's March Mad-
ness logo at Denver's Ball Arena before their first-round game with UC
San Diego.
May and the Wolverines wrapped up the year with a 27-10 overall
record, with a trip to the Sweet 16 and the Big Ten Tournament champi-
onship on their résumé, after finishing tied for second in the conference
during the regular season.
