"My versatility as a receiver, playing everywhere on the field [is an asset]. They do a great job moving their playmakers around and putting them i n a d va n ta ge o u s situations to make plays for the team, and I feel like that's so m e t h i n g I ca n buy into and can fit very well into." This is NFL sea- son No. 5 for Dot- son and his third team; he started his pro career with Washington in 2022. Punter Jordan Stout also earned a nice raise after winning first-team AP All-Pro honors in 2025. The specialist is moving from Baltimore to the New York Giants, where he will be reunited with former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. The NFC East franchise is making Stout the highest-paid punter in NFL history with a three-year deal worth $12.3 million to start his fifth season in the pros. Last year, Stout punted 53 times for a league-leading net average of 44.9 yards. Three other former Nittany Li- ons who have relocated are edge rusher Arnold Ebiketie, safety Jaquan Brisker and offensive tackle Rasheed Walker. Ebiketie parlayed his lone sea- son at Penn State into a spot in the second round of the 2022 draft. He played at Temple before joining the Nittany Lions, and now he's returning to the City of Brotherly Love. On March 12, the Philadelphia Eagles inked him to a one-year deal worth $7.3 mil- lion, including $4.3 million in guaranteed money. Ebiketie had spent the previous four seasons with Atlanta, which had taken him with the 38th overall pick. Brisker, too, is coming home. After four seasons in Chicago, in- cluding a 2025 campaign in which he tied for second on the Bears with 93 tackles, he signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers worth $5.5 mil- lion. Brisker grew up in nearby Wilkins- burg and played at WPIAL power Gate- way High before heading to Lackawa- nna College and eventually Penn State. Upon signing his contract, he said he was thrilled to return to Western Penn- sylvania. "It's going to be amazing," Brisker said. "I love the fans. I love Terrible Towels. I love how passionate they are for the players, how they love Pittsburgh football overall. And 'Renegade,' the song you guys play, I love that. "It's so special. I walked in here to- day to the practice facility, and I just got the chills. When I came off the plane, I got chills. I'm about to be a Pittsburgh Steeler, and it be- came reality. It's set in at this point, and I'm just so thankful and blessed. I know all the legends and people that came through here, all the great coaches and what it means to the city to have this team win and build on that, so it will be amazing." Like Brisker, Walker, too, has left the NFC North, going from Green Bay to Carolina on a one-year, $10 mil- lion agreement. Walker was one of the more curious signings from around the league. He had been hailed as one of the top free agents available after compiling a 69.3 offensive grade last year with the Packers, per Pro Football Focus, but he ended up signing a rela- tively modest deal with Carolina. There was speculation that Walker's marketability had been diminished by an incident at La- Guardia Airport in January when he was arrested for allegedly try- ing to check a bag containing a box with a handgun inside. Walker's attorney told the New York Post that he didn't know he wasn't permitted to travel to New York with the weapon, which was reg- istered in Wisconsin. Whatever the case, Walker is joining a Panthers team that will likely need help at offensive tackle after Ikem Ekwonu suffered a rup- tured patellar tendon in his right knee during the Panthers' playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams in January. ESPN gave Charlotte a grade of "A" for acquiring one of the league's top free agents at a bar- gain price. ■ After four seasons in the Chicago Bears' secondary, safety Jaquan Brisker landed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers worth $5.5 million.
