schedule to do some light training and more running by the fall. During
this month's bye week, he started practicing with the team.
"Very impressive," Kelly said of Hunter's progress. "Without the injury,
[he] would probably be competing for playing time as well. Great speed
and quickness, very sure-handed, has a lot of the attributes we thought
he did … but he will not play this year."
One of four wide receiver recruits in this year's class, Hunter has seen
classmates Corey Robinson, James Onwualu and William Fuller all play
this season. Next spring's rotation will be led by junior DaVaris Daniels
and sophomore Chris Brown, with sophomore C.J. Prosise also expected
to vie for extensive action.
