Record-Breaking Pace • Sophomore golfer Chris O'Neill has enjoyed a tremendous start to his second season at Michigan, carding seven of his 12 rounds this season under par. O'Neill was averaging 70.83 strokes per round through Oct. 26, setting him on pace to smash the single-season school record of 72.00 held by Matt Thompson in 2009-10. The Wolverine went to print Oct. 29 before the Maize and Blue finished their final round of the Invitational at the Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. After a threemonth break, Michigan will return to action Feb. 14-15 for Big Ten Match Play, and the Wolverines will participate in at least six more tournaments.
