FROM OUR READERS you are not going to stick with the team through thick and thin, give up your season tickets and stay home so genuine Michigan fans can have them. If you make a commitment to Michigan by buying season tickets, honor it by being in your seats every game. You deservedly missed being there for a truly great game, which left the nuts from Ohio shuddering in a puddle of their own making with less than a minute to go. Our own athletic department is also guilty by going public with an undisclosed number of tickets for this particular game under the guise of "dynamic pricing," with the same result. Is it that important to the bottom line to justify putting tickets out on the Internet only to be scooped up by a screaming scarlet horde? Peddling tickets in this manner just to enhance the bottom line is a cop out and is also a form of giving up. Forget the bottom line! Tickets for this type game must remain in maize and blue hands, regardless of the financial effect. There must certainly be staff members who can come up with creative ways to make that happen.
