He continued his outstanding play with another game-winning goal 1:51 into overtime at New York Dec. 14, propelling Montreal to a 1-0 victory over the Islanders. Pacioretty took a short pass in front from David Desharnais following a turnover and buried it past goalie Evgeni Nabokov for his 12th goal of the year. "I was the recipient of a great pass," Pacioretty told the Associated Press. "It felt great to convert it. We've been fortunate lately, and this was another example."
