COMMITMENT PROFILE FILM EVALUATION Strengths: There are simply no substitutes for size and speed. Chris Clark is 6-6, 240-plus pounds, runs a 4.7 40-yard dash and has great football skills. He has soft hands and can make an acrobatic catch if needed. I like his burst of speed to get to throws that are off target, and I really like his aggressive running style after the catch. He plays with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement, which always helps an offense develop a swagger. Areas of Improvement: This kid attacks people with and without the ball, which is fun to watch. I really like the aggressive blocking style Clark has, and I hope he has a great senior year blocking kids that are half his size. However, there are no defensive ends in the Big Ten that are 5-10, 195 pounds. Clark will have to develop his blocking skills to reach his full potential. Michigan Player Comparison: Mark Campbell is perhaps the only other tight end in the modern era at Michigan that has Clark's size. The 6-6, 253-pound Campbell played from 1995-98, was a crucial part of the 1997 national championship team, and went on to have a nice NFL career. — Analysis By Former All-Big Ten Lineman Doug Skene
