GAME PREVIEW: MICHIGAN "Devin Gardner has not been a leader, period," Balas said. "He's got‑ ten a lot better this year and they've lauded him, but he is not the guy guys flock around and follow the way they did Denard Robinson. He has kind of been a 'me guy,' so I think that's part of it too. "He's gotten a lot better in that re‑ spect, but there's not a whole lot of guys in the senior class to choose from." Michigan has only nine seniors on the squad, and two of those are kick‑ ers.
