Paul Lewis Pittsburgh OPPORTUNITY TO GROW When I look back at my years at Notre Dame, I believe that this school "exposed" many of my personal and academic weaknesses. It was the deans/profs, classmates and my abil- ity to adjust/overcome these weak- nesses that makes my degree real and relevant to me. With this in mind, I believe that when Notre Dame accepts a student to this institution, there must be a 100 percent effort to make sure that he graduates. Until a student fails out of the school, quits, or is charged with a felony, Notre Dame, not the student, must maintain this commitment. If not, then Notre Dame is just another university. There always seems to be some type of adversity for the football team and this academic situation is just one of three events that will occur this year. With this in mind, this team will go 10-2 with Florida State and USC most likely derailing a very good and excit- ing season.
