His mother joined him on the visit and took in NC State for the first time. 18. V.J. King, small forward, Fairfax (Va.) Paul VI: The skilled 6‑7, 185‑pound King has lived in Char‑ lotte, N.C.; Akron, Ohio; and now Fair‑ fax, Va., in the last four years. While he lived in Charlotte, he attended United Faith and was able to check out NC State. The Wo l f p a c k o ff e r e d him in late June 2013 and has been tracking him since he was in the eighth grade. King played with Giles on the USA Basketball Under‑17 National Team. 19. Jamal Murray, point guard, Athlete Institute (Orangeville, Ontario): The gifted point guard, who can also play shoot‑ ing guard, is the next homegrown star from the Toronto area. The 6 ‑ 3 , 1 8 0 ‑ p o u n d e r brings great size and poise for the point guard position. He watched NC State host Eastern Ken‑ tucky on Nov. 30, 2013, and earned a Wolf‑ pack offer last June. Thon Maker and his sophomore power forward brother Matur Maker have joined Murray at Athlete In‑ stitute. Murray will get another chance to experience the Raleigh area at the Holiday Invitational. 20. Miles Bridges, small forward, Hun- tington (W.Va.) Prep: The 6‑6, 225‑pounder from Flint, Mich., has superb size for a small forward, and can slash to the bas‑ ket or make jump‑ ers from outside. NC State offered Bridges, and he un‑ officially visited for the Wolfpack's team camp in late June.
