Joshua Langford, shooting guard, Madison (Ala.) Academy: The 6‑6, 200‑pound Langford has become one of the mystery guys na‑ tionally in the class of 2016 because in‑ juries curtailed his spring and summer. NC State offered Langford in mid‑ August 2013, and he watched the Boston College at NC State game March 9 on an unofficial visit. Gottfried, a former Ala‑ bama coach, has previously landed Ralston Turner and Trevor Lacey from the state. 47. Trevor Stanback, center, Pasadena (Calif.) Maranatha: The 6‑10, 210‑pound Stanback, who is the younger brother of former UCLA/UNLV forward Chace Stan‑ back, is one of sev‑ eral California play‑ ers being recruited by NC State. Stanback helped lead West Chills (Calif.) Cham‑ inade to a CIF Divi‑ sion III state title last winter and then elected to transfer to Ma‑ ranatha this summer. Stanback unofficially visited NCSU June 10, due to family ties to the state of North Carolina. Stanback's fa‑ ther, Harry, played defensive end for North Carolina in 1977‑80, and Trevor's grand‑ parents live in Rockingham, N.C. He also has family ties to Wilmington, N.C., on his mother's side of the family. 89. Curtis Jones, combo guard, Hunting- ton (W.Va.)
