FOOTBALL RECRUITING case. The Irish coaching staff will host five class of 2015 official visitors that weekend, including three recruits that are committed elsewhere. The top expected target is Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star running back Dexter Williams. The 6-0, 192-pounder is committed to Miami, but has been considering Notre Dame, Florida, Louisville and others for quite some time. Irish running backs coach Tony Alford has spearheaded his re- cruitment for over a year, and Williams is certainly a running back that could end up in South Bend. Notre Dame would like to add one more ball carrier to pair with Warrington (Pa.) Central Bucks South four-star back Josh Adams in this 2015 class. Per 247Sports, Williams is the No. 108 overall recruit in the country, the No. 12 running back in the nation and the No. 18 player in Florida. Tallahassee (Fla.) Florida State Uni- versity School four-star safety Ron- nie Harrison will make his first trip to South Bend. The 6-3, 205-pound recruit has been committed to Alabama since July 29, but Notre Dame grabbed his attention with an offer June 5. There are five defensive backs committed to Notre Dame in this 2015 class, but the Irish staff would like to add two more elite targets before National Signing Day in February. Per 247Sports, Harrison is the No. 125 overall prospect in the land, the nation's No. 6 safety and the No. 20 recruit in Florida. McKinney (Texas) North four-star running back Ronald Jones II is another top back headed for his first campus visit. The 6-0, 185-pounder made a shocking commitment to Oklahoma State on April 6, and he's been firm in his pledge since then. Notre Dame and USC look to be the only two threats to steal the talented back from the Cowboys, and he visits both schools Nov. 22 and Nov. 29, re- spectively. Alford and defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks have made Jones a priority over the past few months and have been working hard to get him on campus for an official visit. Per 247Sports, Jones is the No. 201 overall recruit in the nation, the No. 19 running back in the land and the No. 27 player in Texas. Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy three-star safety Ben Ed- wards is looking for a school with a Expected Louisville game visitor and Oklahoma State commitment Ronald Jones II of McKinney, Texas, is rated as the No. 201 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 19 running back in the land and the No. 27 player in Texas by 247Sports.
