finals Nov. 9 at Jesse Owens Memo- rial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio … The highlight of the season came in early October when the Wolver- ines knocked off then-No. 6 Notre Dame 3-2 at U-M Soccer Stadium … The win was the first victory over a top-10 opponent at home in the past two seasons and the second win over the defending NCAA cham- pion Fighting Irish in program his- tory … Redshirt junior midfielder Colin McAtee scored all three goals, including the match-winner in the 83rd minute … McAtee led the Wol- verines with eight goals for the sea- son and added two assists to pace the team with 18 points … McAtee and fifth-year senior midfielder Tyler Ar- none were named to the All Big-Ten first and second team, respectively … Additionally, freshmen Billy Stevens, a defender, and Ahinga Selemani, a forward, were named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team … Fifth-year senior defender Nick Lewin received the team's Sportsmanship Award. WOMEN'S SOCCER (12-5-3 OVERALL, 8-2-3 BIG TEN) The No. 25-ranked women's soccer team lost a heartbreaking match to Sophomore forward Nicky Waldeck led the U-M women's soccer team this season with 12 goals and 29 points.
