UNDER THE DOME
THE BIG PICTURE
SNOW DAY
With more than 12 inches of snow falling upon South Bend two days prior to
the home game against Northwestern Nov. 15, Notre Dame personnel spent
most of 48 hours clearing the stadium for use in the eventual 43-40 overtime
loss to the Wildcats.
The game-time temperature was 29 degrees, marking the fourth-coldest game
at Notre Dame Stadium since 1980. South Bend was hit hard again by snow in
the days after the game, leading up to the home finale against Louisville Nov. 22.
