MARGARET BAMGBOSE SEEDED SIXTH AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS Irish junior Molly Seidel was named the Most Valuable Track Performer at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships in late February, capturing the 3,000- and 5,000-meter event titles. However, it is junior Margaret Bamg- bose who will be the highest-seeded participant for Notre Dame at the NCAA Indoor Championships March 13-14 at Fayetteville, Ark. Bamgbose won the 400-meter race at the confer- ence meet with a time of 52.10 seconds, breaking the school record and earning the No. 6 overall seed at the nationals. "We knew [Margaret] was going to be a contender, but we knew it was not going to be easy," head coach Alan Turner said. "She's always been a very strong finisher and she was definitely pushed by those girls. The ACC is one of the toughest conferences for the women's 400." Seidel is seeded 11th in the 5,000 me- ters with a time of 15:54.45, and se- nior Jade Barber is seeded 15th in the 60-meter hurdles with a clocking of 8.20 seconds.
