IRISH IN THE PROS the last decade, Notre Dame is still tied for 13th in the land with 40 NFL draftees, including five first-round se- lections, during the last 10 years. Over the last two seasons, the Irish have produced 14 selections, which ranks as the fourth-most during that span. A former Irish standout has been selected in the first round in each of the last three events, marking the pro- gram's first such streak since 1992-94, although it is certain to come to an end this year. The school has produced at least one pick in the draft every year since 1977, and even if there is not a first-rounder, that impressive streak is almost cer- tainly going to continue. Tight end Ben Koyack, cornerback Cody Riggs, wide receiver DaVaris Daniels and kicker Kyle Brindza are the best bets to hear their names called April 30-May 2.
