Winston said he talks to current
U-M sophomore point guard Derrick
Walton, who attended Detroit Chan-
dler Park Academy.
"I grew up with some of the Michi-
gan guys like Derrick Walton," Win-
ston said. "I'm pretty comfortable
with him. It would be a good expe-
rience to play with him, and he's a
great player. I probably could learn a
lot of things from him."
Head coach John Beilein attended
the first two days of the Hampton
EYBL with assistant coach LaVall Jor-
dan.
"Coach Beilein is a cool guy," Win-
ston said. "I think they are going to
be a pretty good team next year and
for the years to come."
Winston is expected to attend the
Michigan Elite Camp in June for the
third straight year, but he's in no
hurry to make a decision.

Langford made his first perfor-
mance following his
junior season a memo-
rable one during the
April 10 adidas Gaunt-
let spring AAU event
in Duncanville, Texas.
He scored 24 points in
his first game with the
Atlanta Celtics, an 85-78 win over
an elite Team Loaded squad out of
North Carolina, and averaged 22.3
points over four games.
