FOOTBALL RECRUITING Arbor, he plans to make the trip this summer. Stove is a speedster who can make plays after the catch, two skills Michi‑ gan direly needs in the secondary. WR DONNIE CORLEY 6-3, 185 • Detroit Martin Luther King Four-star prospect, No. 2 recruit in Mich- igan, and No. 12 wide receiver and No. 66 overall player nationally Corley was a hot Michigan target in the winter, but he is looking more seriously into Michigan State and Tennessee. With his fading interest, U‑M has devoted more recruiting resources to other wide receiver prospects, but a strong first year of the Harbaugh Era could reignite his Maize and Blue feelings. Corley is a true NFL‑style No. 1 re‑ ceiver, reminiscent of former Wolverine Braylon Edwards. He is also versatile enough to hold multiple Division I of‑ fers to play defensive back. WR DONOVAN PEOPLES-JONES (2017) 6-1, 182 • Detroit Cass Tech Four-star recruit, 5.9 Rivals rating (mid- dle-tier four-star) Peoples‑Jones is the top in‑state player in the 2017 class, and is likely to be one of the top players produced by Detroit Cass Tech in recent years. He has made several unofficial visits to Ann Arbor, but is particularly interested in warm‑weather schools, including USC and Florida. The Wolverines will have to fight to keep him home. Peoples‑Jones is a lean, fast wide re‑ ceiver who can excel out wide or in the slot. He has exceptional leaping ability and will only be a bigger threat in that regard when he finishes growing. OL RICHARD MERRITT 6-4, 338 • Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll Four-star prospect, No. 4 player in the District of Columbia and No. 12 offensive guard nationally Merritt has held a Michigan offer for more than a year, but has yet to visit Ann Arbor. He plans to rectify that this summer, making a tip along with team‑ mate (and fellow offered offensive line‑ man) Jauan Williams. He has suitors from across the country, and getting him on campus will allow Michigan to gauge just how serious an option he is. Merritt is a thick, bruising offensive guard prospect that can move de‑ fenders off the ball. The athleticism he shows playing tackle in high school will help him be a pulling guard in college. OL TERRANCE DAVIS 6-4, 310 • Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic Four-star recruit, No. 4 player in Mary- land, and No. 5 offensive guard and No. 124 overall prospect nationally Davis is one of Michigan's top offen‑ sive line targets, and fortunately for the staff he's reciprocating every bit of that attention. He has taken multiple unof‑ ficial visits to campus, most recently for the spring game April 4, and the Wolverines are in a lofty position on his list. He plans to take his time — and of‑ ficial visits — so the Wolverines can still be passed, but other schools have some work to do. Davis is a smooth, polished offensive
