68 games. He also finished on the plus side in plus-minus (two) for the first time since 2010-11, notched nine power play goals (his most since racking up 19 in 2008-09) and tallied a career-best eight game-winning goals for the second straight season. The left wing now has 263 career goals, 281 assists and 49 game-win- ning tallies in his illustrious career. 6. Charles Woodson OAKLAND RAIDERS, NFL Woodson might have lost a step or two since being picked in the first round of the 1998 NFL draft, but he's still considered one of the more im- portant players on the Raiders de- fense. He's no longer a cornerback — now a free safety — but played in all 16 games a year ago and notched 113 tackles, eight pass break-ups and four interceptions. Two years ago, Woodson tied the NFL record (with Darren Sharper and former team- mate Rod Woodson) for most defen- sive touchdowns in league history when he scored on a fumble recovery for his 13th defensive touchdown, a record he's still trying to break. He's an eight-time Pro Bowler, a seven- time All-Pro and the only player in NFL history to have at least 60 inter- ceptions and 20 sacks. He's racked up 929 career tackles since 2001, when the NFL officially started keep- ing track of the statistic. 7. Trey Burke UTAH JAZZ, NBA Burke has averaged 12.8 points per game in each of his first two sea- sons and he made the NBA all-rookie team in 2014, but his low shooting percentage currently has him on the trading block. He lost his starting job last season while he connected on 36.8 percent of his shots and 31.8 percent of triples, down from 38 and 33, respectively. However, he was also among seven players to receive recent invitations to USA Basketball's upcoming minicamp in Las Vegas Aug. 11-13, a step toward the 2016 Olympic Team. He still has the po- tential to be a very good NBA player, but it could well be with a different team. 8. Carl Hagelin ANAHEIM DUCKS, NHL Hagelin spent his first four sea- sons with the New York Rangers before recently being traded to Ana- heim, and he put up solid numbers each year with his former squad. He played in 82 games for the first time in his career in 2014-15, notching 17 goals and 18 assists, and also finished with a plus/minus of plus-18 with four game-winning goals. His trade was the result of a salary cap issue on New York's part — he's still the speedy scorer he's always been, and most believe his best days are ahead of him. Hagelin, who will turn 27 before the start of next season, has registered 58 goals and 72 assists in 266 career games, and has combined for nine game-winning goals in the last two years. 9. Leon Hall CINCINNATI BENGALS, NFL Hall has been plagued by two torn Achilles' tendons in the last four
