IRISH IN THE PROS Riggs and Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Ben Koyack — because of the vet‑ eran‑laden 2015 team, but Riggs earns the nod over Koyack with his seven tackles, one pass defended and one forced fumble in six games. Koyack has yet to appear in an NFL game, but Riggs has helped a Titans team that changed coaches in Novem‑ ber and has only two wins on the sea‑ son. Riggs' top performance came in a 34‑28 win at New Orleans Nov. 8, when he recorded five tackles and a forced fumble. Surprise Of The Midseason: Golden Tate, Detroit Lions: Tate emerging as a 2015 surprise is a bad development for both himself and the two‑win Lions. When Detroit went 11‑5 in 2014, Tate caught 99 passes for 1,331 yards and four touchdowns, but those numbers have significantly dropped for one of the NFL's worst offenses this season. Through nine games, Tate had reg‑ istered 44 receptions for 429 yards and one touchdown while the Lions look destined for a sub‑.500 finish. NFL NOTES For games played Nov. 12‑16 • Minnesota Vikings safety Robert Blanton (2008‑11) recorded one tackle in a 30‑14 win over the Oakland Raiders. The team ended the week in first place in the NFC North after the Green Bay Pack‑ ers lost for the third consecutive week. • Jacksonville Jaguars safety Sergio Brown (2006‑09) notched three tackles in a 22‑20 win over the Baltimore Ravens. • Denver Broncos safety David Bruton (2005‑08) registered four tackles in a 29‑13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. • Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert (2009‑12) caught three balls for 26 yards, but dropped three passes in a 10‑6 loss to the Houston Texans on Mon‑ day Night Football. • Tennessee Titans tight end Anthony Fasano (2002‑05) caught one pass for 19 yards in a 27‑10 loss to the Carolina Panthers. • Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd (2008‑11) snagged seven receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns in a 39‑32 win over the Se‑ attle Seahawks. • Cardinals tight end Troy Niklas (2011‑13) played in the victory over the Seahawks, but did not record any statistics. • Detroit Lions running back Theo Riddick (2009‑12) carried the ball three times for just one yard and caught three passes for 25 yards in an 18‑16 win over the Green Bay Packers. • Titans defensive back Cody Riggs (2014) regis‑ tered one tackle in a 27‑10 loss to the Panthers. • Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph (2008‑10) man‑ aged one reception for seven yards in the triumph over the Raiders. • Vikings safety Harrison Smith recorded six tackles in the victory over the Raiders. • Lions wide receiver Golden Tate (2007‑09) caught four passes for 52 yards in the victory over the Pack‑ ers. • Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Stephon Tuitt (2011‑13) finished with two tackles in a 30‑9 win over the Cleveland Browns. • New York Jets cornerback Darrin Walls (2006‑10) played in a 22‑17 loss to the Buffalo Bills, but did not record a stat.
