WOMEN'S SOCCER (14-5-1) The No. 10 Irish saw their season come to an end in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, falling 2-0 to No. 18 UConn Nov. 20 in New Brunswick, N.J. MEN'S SOCCER (11-4-6) The No. 7 Irish hosted Tulsa in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Nov. 22, and advanced after a 1-1 tie through double overtime was decided by penalty kicks. Notre Dame won the shootout 3-0 and was slated to host Maryland Nov. 29 in the round of 16. HOCKEY (5-3-4, 3-1-2 HOCKEY EAST) No. 15 Notre Dame tied No. 5 UMass Lowell 2-2 Nov. 20 and lost 3-1 Nov. 21 in a two-game road series. The Irish returned home to host the Shillelagh Tournament Nov. 27-28 at Compton Family Ice Arena. VOLLEYBALL (6-22, 2-16) Notre Dame lost to Georgia Tech (3-1) Nov. 20 and defeated Clemson (3-0) Nov. 22 in its final home matches of the season. The Irish finish the season at Syracuse Nov. 25 and at Boston College Nov. 27. SWIMMING The swim teams wrapped up their fall season at the Boilermaker Invitational Nov. 20-22. The women's squad placed second out of eight teams with 692 points, finishing behind only Purdue (1,002 points). The men's team placed third out of five teams with 557.5 points, ranking behind runner-up Wyoming (702.5 points) and winner Purdue (973.5). — Jordan Wells
