IRISH IN THE PROS BY ANDREW OWENS T ennessee Titans rookie Cody Riggs felt disrespected throughout the lead-up to last spring's NFL Draft, and he would be the first to tell you so. Last season, during his graduate transfer campaign at Notre Dame af- ter spending four years at Florida, Riggs started at cornerback for the Irish when he wasn't plagued by in- juries. Late in the season, he had yet to receive an NFL Combine invitation. Riggs admitted it disappointed him. Months later, he went undrafted and signed with the Tennessee Titans. He played just one game before Oct. 18, but has been a steady con- tributor in the secondary since then. "I am not intimidated by anybody. Whoever is out there I'll do my best to cover," Riggs told reporters. "I feel like I have always been a confident player. I have never been scared of any com- petition or going against anybody."
