UNDER THE DOME (2018), Justin Brent (2018), Tony Jones (2019) and Deon McIntosh (2019) The Skinny: Prosise is a can- didate to go pro while his stock is high, and Folston could also choose to declare for the NFL Draft rather than return. Running backs have only so much mileage and Folston might opt to choose the draft the year before studs like LSU's Leonard Fournette and Georgia's Nick Chubb leave col- lege. Anderson will be extended a 2016 scholarship only if there is room, and Brent has been an enigma. The four-star product moved from wide receiver to running back this year, is being redshirted and is believed to be a transfer candidate. Having eight running backs in 2016 would be a luxury, but is unlikely. WIDE RECEIVERS Total: 10 Players (Eligibility): Will Fuller (2016), Corey Robinson (2016), Torii Hunter (2017), CJ Sanders (2018), Equanimeous St. Brown (2018), Corey Holmes (2018), Jalen Guyton (2019), Miles Boykin (2019), Chase Claypool (2019) and Kevin Stepherson (2019) The Skinny: Notre Dame has enviable depth at the position and continues to recruit well here. Fuller declared his inten- tions to return as a senior, though a change of heart can't be ruled out in January. Holmes hasn't played since the first two games of 2014 and, like Brent at running back, faces a lot of competition. TIGHT ENDS Total: 5 Players (Eligibility): Chase H o u n s h e l l ( 2 0 1 6 ) , D u r h a m Smythe (2017), Tyler Luatua (2017), Nic Weishar (2018) and Alizé Jones (2018) The Skinny: Hounshell has yet to decide if he wants to return for a sixth season in 2016, but even without him the luxury of return- ing four other blossoming tight ends allowed the Irish to pass on the position in the 2016 recruiting haul when its top targets turned elsewhere. OFFENSIVE LINE Total: 16 Players (Eligibility): Mark Har- rell (2016), Steve Elmer (2016), Ronnie Stanley (2016), Colin McGovern (2017), John Mon- telus (2017), Mike McGlinchey (2017), Hunter Bivin (2017), Sam Mustipher (2018), Alex Bars (2018), Quenton Nelson (2018), Jimmy Byrne (2018), Tristen Hoge (2019), Trevor Ruhland (2019), Parker Boudreaux (2019), Liam Eichenberg (2019) and Tommy Kraemer (2019) The Skinny: Stanley is a sure en- trant into the 2016 NFL Draft after returning this season to graduate. He is a potential top-10 pick. The Irish would like to return Harrell, who is an experienced backup, but his fifth year could be on the cutting block if Notre Dame is at the 85-man limit. DEFENSIVE LINE Total: 17 Players (Eligibility): Jarron Jones (2016), Isaac Rochell (2016), Ja- cob Matuska (2017), Daniel Cage (2017), Andrew Trumbetti (2017), Grant Blankenship (2017), Doug Randolph (2017), Peter Mokwuah (2018), Jonathan Bonner (2018), Jerry Tillery (2018), Jay Hayes (2018), Brandon Tiassum (2019), Elijah Taylor (2019), Micah Dew- Treadway (2019), Khalid Kareem (2019), Adetokunbo Ogundeji (2019) and Julian Okwara (2019) The Skinny: With zero com- mitments for the interior of the defensive line, Notre Dame has been able to be picky with who it offers due to the sheer number of 2016 returners. The lone fifth- year candidate is Jones, who is very likely to return after missing NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL TICKETS BOWL GAME TICKETS 2016 Season Now On Sale 1-800-925-2500 www.NotreDameTickets.com
