"There's a lot of little things, but a
lot of little things add up to another
point in our team score that we can
improve."
Currently the top-ranked team in
the nation, Michigan has high expec-
tations for the rest of the season.
"We have the same goals ev-
ery year, and that's first and fore-
most win a Big Ten championship
[March 19]," Plocki said. "We've
talked a lot about the fact that we
want to make sure we're not afraid
to say we want to go out and win a
national championship [April 15-17].
"We think that we are as capable
as anybody else in the country to be
able to accomplish that goal." ❏
Junior Nicole Artz earned six event titles to help the Wolverines start the season 4‑0 and
rise to No. 1 in the national rankings as of mid‑January.
