FROM OUR READERS through the media at lightning speed. Can't say enough about what he's doing. We are blessed to have this cat. Amazing. Boogieman • As a lifetime fan of the program I can say with certainty that I haven't been this excited for a season to start since 2006. Ten years seems like an eternity, but Jim is putting in work and I believe we as fans are in for an amazing ride! djradde • He's the right guy at the right time, and there's little doubt about that. Let's step back a little bit before we put him ahead of Bo, though. There's a whole lot of winning to be done before he reaches that status, and I guarantee he'd tell you the same. bobigblue • Have to start beating MSU and OSU a whole bunch before he's a 'Bo.' But I sure like the direction we are headed. jimchammd • Spike Albrecht is going to play again next year. And this whole fear mongering thing about him "potentially not being able to play next year" is pathetic. Period. The great thing about sports is pushing an agenda via friendly media only can last so long until the rubber meets the road. Best of luck, Spike. I hope he latches on with an elite program/winner. Kid deserves it. Chicagoalum2005 • We really need to go back to the days when men's basketball had 15 scholar- ships. Title IX has done a lot of good, but for men's basketball, they get screwed. The last couple of years with the early departures and injuries, it sure would have been nice to have a couple of extra scholarship players to take some min- utes and develop, and we would have room for Spike.
