FROM OUR READERS • This coaching staff very well may be for the ages. Don Brown sounds like an innovator of the game. Of course, Jim Harbaugh and Tim Drevno are. What if special teams become special? Along with the influx of the young, motivated coaches, you just might have the perfect storm. Kirbyblue • Add Harbaugh's moxie to the above equation and yes, we are in for a special ride. This fall will be the beginning of a dominance streak we haven't seen in Ann Arbor in many years. skinny_wolverine • Jedd Fisch is so overlooked on this staff by the fan base. He's probably (argu- ably) our best assistant. And that's saying a lot. Jedd is a stud of a coach. Many of those plays last year where you were like "wow, what a great play design" were right from him. He's not only a great play designer/X's and O's guy, but also a great talent de- veloper. Not to mention a very solid recruiter. People forget he was an offensive coordinator in the NFL prior to coming here. If we can hang on to him beyond next year it would be a blessing. ap3jags • It's that important right now, but having all these young guys on the staff is great for the future. Jimmy has a great coaching tree and having these guys around could lay the groundwork for having great future head coaches as well. I hope Jim stays here until he is done coaching, but maybe when he does Jay Harbaugh or Chris Partridge or Devin Bush Sr. are big-time head coaches and want to go back to where they got started. jrcrock10 • Jim Harbaugh is an amazing human being. This guy never stops. There's a picture with Jeff Gordon handing him a U-M jersey today, Twitter bombing everyone in sight, satellite camps, overachieving season last year, developing players that were thought of as nobodies, etc. I swear (and I know it's early), but he may be the best thing that's happened to Michigan football ever. More than even Bo. Back in the day it was a hell of a lot easier to be a power program than it is today. Parity and limits on scholarships today level the playing field. Jim Harbaugh is doing things to get Michigan relevant again on the field and From Our Website
