COMMITMENT PROFILE that I've picked out from early on. I always watched them and been a huge fan of them. What they have academics wise and football wise is special. "I think they balance them perfectly at Michigan. To be a part of that is go‑ ing to be awesome." Rivals.com Mid‑Atlantic recruit‑ ing analyst Adam Friedman has ob‑ served Stueber in person a couple of times and liked what he saw out of the rising senior lineman. "Stueber is huge," Friedman said. "He has an excellent frame. Even be‑ ing over 300 pounds he doesn't have a lot of bad weight on him. He has a lot room to fill out and you like that on the hoof. "When you watch him on film or in person you can see that he moves really well. He's a great bender and is very athletic for his size. He's a very good run blocker because of those things. "He really keeps his balance well when moving forward. He's got a great wingspan. He's a very good all‑ around player, and I think Michigan will be happy with him down the road for sure." The Darien head coach knows bet‑ ter than anyone what Stueber is ca‑ pable of and whether you're talking current numbers or projected upside, Trifone is convinced that Stueber will thrive at U‑M. "He can squat 450 pounds, he can bench press 275 with extremely long arms. Coaches love that about him, by the way," Trifone said. "And he also cleans about 240, and that's the measure of athleticism. "If you take those numbers and fast‑forward three years from now … All of that physical maturity will take place in college. If he stays on track, I think Michigan is going to be very pleased with how good he ends up." — Brandon Brown FILM EVALUATION Strengths: Andrew Stueber has excellent feet and superb athleticism for a young man his size. He won agility and speed contests at Michigan's camp because of it and really moved well. He has very long arms as well, giving him an ideal skill set for a developing offensive tackle. Areas of Improvement: Even though he's right around 300 pounds Stueber has a long, lean frame. He needs to add muscle and weight to his body in order to withstand the intensity of a Big Ten season. Michigan Player Comparison: Stueber looks like he could fall somewhere between Ben Braden and Taylor Lewan. Braden has always had the hulking size, but has yet to develop into an All-Big Ten caliber player. Lewan on the other hand was slimmer coming into college, but bulked up and became the No. 11 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Stueber has the framework to be at least as good as Braden with a ceiling of Lewan. — Analysis from TheWolverine.com
