Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale. Michigan has offered 10 Raiders in the 2017 and 2018 classes, including five-star senior wide receiver Trevon Grimes and two four-star 2018 cornerbacks in Asante Samuel Jr. and Benjamin Sapp. The Wolverine staff has had a lot of suc- cess in the Sunshine State and tapping into the Aquinas pipeline would take things to another level. No stop had the direct impact like the one at Lee County High School in Leesburg, Ga. At the time, 2017 four- star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon and 2018 safety Otis Reese were just targets of the Maize and Blue, but they both became Michigan commits. Pulling a talent like the 6-4, 287-pound Solomon out of the heart of Georgia is a big deal for the U-M coaches. As the No. 4 defensive tackle and No. 91 overall player in the coun- try, Solomon is a wanted man. He holds offers from the in-state Bulldogs as well as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss and Ohio State. He could be tough to hang on to, but for now he's a Wolverine, and the satellite camp at his school is one reason for that. Reese was a little easier to compre- hend. His older brother, Da'Quaun Jamison, is a redshirt freshman at Cen- tral Michigan in Mt. Pleasant so Reese was a little more familiar with the idea of leaving Georgia to play football in The Great Lakes State. Business is booming for Michigan right now, and the satellite camp tour was just a part of the operation. Har- baugh has things buzzing in Ann Ar- bor, and if the team performs on the field in 2016 like most think it should, the Wolverines will be all the way back in just year two under Harbaugh. ❏ June 1 — Indianapolis, Ind., at Bishop Chatard High School First stop on the tour and second year in a row to camp there. June 1 — Pago Pago, American Samoa, at Samoa High School A small contingent of coaches got the international feel started, and at least one student- athlete from every high school on the island attended. June 1 — Springfield, Ohio, at Springfield High School Junior Michigan commits tight end Leonard Taylor and linebacker Antwuan Johnson both at- tended camp at their school. June 2 — Atlanta, at Cedar Grove High School Hank Aaron stopped by to speak to the campers prior to the camp. June 2 — Leesburg, Ga., at Lee County High School The impression left by coaches led to commitments of Lee County senior defensive tackle Au- brey Solomon and junior defensive back Otis Reese. June 2 — Melbourne, Australia, at Heatherbrae Recreation Reserve Park The specialist camp was handled by the same group that was in Samoa. June 3 — Jacksonville, Fla., at Trinity Christian School A small camp that featured a lot of talent including two five stars — senior cornerback Shaun Wade and junior athlete Tyreke Johnson.
