What I like the most about football: It's a
violent, physical sport. You get to take your anger
and passion out on somebody else.
The highlight of my athletic career: My second
year we played Pittsburgh in a night game un-
der the lights. Everybody was there. I had two
and a half tackles for loss. The whole defense
was clicking. It was a big game. James Conner,
the running back for Pittsburgh (the 2014 ACC
Player of the Year and an AFCA first-team All-
American), was putting up crazy numbers and
we shut him down (Virginia won, 24-19).
The most important thing I've learned from
football: Football definitely has the discipline
that comes from playing the sport. I hold myself
accountable and hold others accountable. The
discipline has made me a better person.
My dream vacation would be: Spain or
somewhere in Europe.
My post-college ambition is: Playing in the
NFL.
