As stewardship coordinator, Boyle develops and executes unique and meaningful
plans for stewarding donors at all VAF giving levels. Additionally, she coordinates ef-
forts that include VAF Members of the Game, hosting the VAF football suite and devel-
oping communications to donors.
Wayand will be instrumental in providing administrative
support for members of the VAF development team and is
responsible for customer service related activities and day-
to-day operational support for the Foundation.
A native of Pennsylvania, she earned a B.A. in art from
Mercyhurst University where she was also a four-year starter
on the softball team, serving as captain her senior year. After
graduation, she spent 10 years working for a large magazine
publishing company as an art director. Most recently, she
assisted the headmaster and ran the main office of a local
private boarding school.
Lisa and her husband have lived in Charlottesville since
1999 after moving around the country for eight years. They
have two children, Patrick and Claire.
