cavalier profile COLIN HARRINGTON Third-Year • Baseball Colin Harrington has proven adept at chemistry — in the classroom and on the baseball diamond. On the field, the third-year outfielder patiently waited for an opportunity to become an everyday player. He redshirted as a first-year before playing a part-time role in 2011 and helping the Cavaliers reach the College World Series for the sec- ond time in three years. This season, he has made a seamless transition to a more prominent role on a young team that came together to win 20 of 26 games prior to the exam break (May 1-8) after an 11-8-1 start. Through April 30, he was hitting .310 with one home run and 24 RBI. "Every day I come to the field knowing I'll probably be in the lineup, so I'm a little more relaxed at the plate as opposed to last year when it was game-to-game basis," Harrington said.
