HOO TO WATCH: KELSEY WOLFE offensive ability that helped her be- come The Washington Post's 2010 High School Player of the Year at Seneca Val- ley in Germantown, Md., but heading into her third-year season at Virginia, more is expected of the 5-10 guard. Wolfe averaged just 2.9 points per Kelsey Wolfe has shown flashes of the game last year, but played a big role in key ACC victories versus Clemson (12 points) and Florida State (11). Second- year head coach Joanne Boyle thinks an improved Wolfe, who led her high school team to an unbeaten season and state title her senior year, can add instant offense off the bench. "People will probably look at Kelsey said. "Through this summer and through the preseason she's worked really hard and I think she's going to have to play major minutes for us here while we have two of our freshmen still hurt. Wolfe's playing time increased from and say she didn't play a lot of min- utes, but I think Kelsey has been a really consistent player for us, " Boyle her first to second seasons. She scored 12 points in each of her first two col- lege games, but after that played in just 22 games her first year at UVa be- fore playing in all but one last season. This season, the Cavs expect to see Boyle said. "I think Kelsey is going to do some really good things for us this year. " — Shane Mettlen even further development.
