Class Of 2015 Wing Luke Kennard Gains National Acclaim All it took for Michigan class of 2015 priority Luke Kennard to earn four-star status from Eric Bossi of Rivals.com was a little bit of exposure. The 6-5, 180-pound wing from Franklin (Ohio) High excelled at the Jan. 18 weekend Flyin' to the Hoop Tournament in Dayton, Ohio, scoring 32 points on 10-of-19 shooting (5 of 7 from beyond the three-point line) while adding 11 rebounds and five assists in a 79-65 win over Houston HYCA. "The 6-foot-5 Kennard is a natural shooting guard who is capable of playing any of the three perimeter spots effectively," Rivals.com wrote. "Kennard is an excellent jump shooter, an all-around player and a talented distributor. Not necessarily a great athlete, Kennard is skilled at getting to the rim off the dribble and is best as a scorer in finishing with floaters or quickrelease jumpers." HYCA's Justin Jackson (6-7, Rivals.com's No. 29 junior), a class of 2014 prospect also on Michigan's radar, also scored 32 points in his team's loss. The self-proclaimed North Carolina fan listed the Tar Heels, Arizona, Ohio State, Virginia, Washington and Texas A&M as his top schools. Class Of 2015 Notes • Lake Forest, Ill., standout Even Boudreaux (6-6, 180) is high on Michigan's wish list and recently told NY2LASports.com Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin were all trying to get him on campus this season. Boudreaux said the Wolverines want him to see a game for himself. "They've been really interested in me," he said. "They want me to experience a game at Crisler Arena. I've been talking to Coach [LaVall] Jordan a lot." Boudreaux has missed a good portion of the season with an injury. He recently visited Butler for the Bulldogs' game with Gonzaga. ❏   On The Web For regular reports on basketball recruiting, plus videos of all the top prospects in the nation and Michigan's commitments, visit TheWolverine.com.
