OCTOBER 2019 THE WOLVERINE 63   MICHIGAN IN THE PROS for a quarterback rating of 124.9, and the 42-year-old quarterback was nearly as good in week two. He posted a 124.7 rating after throwing for 264 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another score, in a 43-0 victory over the Dolphins. The latter performance was Brady's first with seven-time Pro Bowler An- tonio Brown as part of the receiving corps. Brown hauled in four passes for 56 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown, in his debut with the future Hall of Fame quarterback. The weapons Brady had to target in the aerial attack were some of the biggest questions entering the season for the defending Super Bowl cham- pions, but as long as Brown is on the field there isn't much up in the air. "Brown is still one of the best re- ceivers in the NFL, and as long as he's in the lineup he's going to help Brady look even better," Yahoo! Sports' Frank Schwab wrote Sept. 15. "He also might make the Patriots un- beatable. … With Brady at an age in which he could see a significant de- cline at any time, giving him a great group of receivers will help him stay young. "Having Brown means he doesn't have to be perfect. Brown can make any quarterback look better, even the guy with the greatest NFL résumé ever."
