Still, it cuts to the soul every time his kids doubt him. As he approaches the half century mark — that's right, the legendary Wolfpack and NBA star turns 50 years old on Dec. 19, 2019 — the often-doubted Gugliotta is well aware that the knees creak and the shoulder pops and the jump shot just doesn't fall as easily as it once did. That's apparent every time he works with his two sons, 10-year-old Charlie and 7-year-old George, during their youth After playing just 121 minutes as a freshman at NC State, Gugliotta averaged nearly a double-double as a junior and senior and became the sixth overall pick of the 1992 NBA Draft.
