BRYCE EFFNER R-Sr. | 6-5 | 298 • Appeared in 11 games last season and started the Rutgers and Michigan State games at left tackle. • Saw action in 12 games during his first three years on campus, including eight appearances during the 2020 season, primarily on special teams. OLU FASHANU So. | 6-6 | 310 • Made his first career start this past January, filling in for the injured Rasheed Walker at left tackle when Penn State faced Arkansas in the Outback Bowl. • Received a 71.6 overall blocking grade from Pro Football Focus for his performance against the Razorbacks, the second-highest grade among the seven linemen who saw ac- tion for Penn State. • Appeared in nine games as a second-year freshman. GOLDEN ISRAEL-ACHUMBA R-So. | 6-4 | 332 • Has seen action in one game — last season's 28-0 victory over Rutgers — in his first two years on campus. • Was a four-year letterman and a team captain as a senior at DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md. JUICE SCRUGGS R-Sr. | 6-3 | 319 • Started Penn State's first 10 games last sea- son at right guard, then started its last three games at center. • Received honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and media, and a third-team all-conference nod from Pro Foot- ball Focus. • Was named Penn State's outstanding of- fensive lineman at the team's postseason banquet. IBRAHIM TRAORE R-So. | 6-5 | 330 • Did not see any game action in his first two years on campus but received the scout team's offensive player of the week award ahead of the Michigan game last November. • Was a four-year letterman and three-time team captain at Frederick Douglass Academy in New York. CAEDAN WALLACE R-Jr. | 6-5 | 319 • Has started 20 games at right tackle during the past two seasons, including all 13 games last year. • Made four appearances as a true freshman in 2019. • Lettered all four years in high school and had 47 pancake blocks as a senior at The Hun School in Princeton, N.J. LANDON TENGWALL R-Fr. | 6-6 | 330 • Made his collegiate debut against Rutgers, seeing action at left tackle, and went on to play in the Lions' regular-season finale at Michigan State and their bowl game against Arkansas. • Was a three-year letterwinner at Our Lady of Good Counsel High in Olney, Md. SAL WORMLEY R-Jr. | 6-3 | 309 • Had been expected to start at right guard last season before suffering a season-ending injury in August. • Played in three games during the 2020 sea- son, mostly on special teams. • Shared the scout team's offensive player of the year honor with quarterback Ta'Quan Roberson as a true freshman in 2019. NEWCOMERS VEGA IOANE Fr. | 6-4 | 330 • Helped Graham-Kapowsin (Wash.) High aver- age 456.3 yards and 44.1 points per game as a senior. • Was listed as a four-star prospect by On3 and was the No. 9 player in Washington according to the On3 Consensus. JB NELSON R-So. | 6-5 | 305 • Was a 10-game starter at Lackawanna College last season, helping the Falcons average 161.2 rushing yards per game. • Saw action in two games during Lackawanna's abbreviated 2020 season. • Was a three-year starter on the offensive and defensive lines at Mt. Lebanon (Pa.) High. MALEEK McNEIL Fr. | 6-7 | 355 • Played on the offensive and defensive lines and also punted at Walter Panas High in Cort- land Manor, N.Y. • Received a three-star rating from On3 and was the No. 6 prospect in New York according to the On3 Consensus. HUNTER NOURZAD R-Sr. | 6-3 | 310 • Started his last 20 games at Cornell, including 10 games in 2021, a year in which he received second-team FCS All-America honors from the American Football Coaches Association. • Played tackle for an offensive line that al- lowed only 9 sacks all season, the fewest in school history. DREW SHELTON Fr. | 6-5 | 275 • Was a three-year letterman at Downingtown (Pa.) West. • Received a four-star rating from On3 and was the No. 3 overall prospect in Pennsylvania in the On3 Consensus.
