6 SEPT. 24, 2022 BLUE & GOLD ILLUSTRATED FAN FORUM TAKE A DEEP BREATH I see where Tyler Buchner is out for the season. Sad but he seems to be in- jury prone. Before I knew this, I was thinking that ND fans needed to take a deep breath and not judge Marcus Free- man until the end of the year. That may not even be fair now. Lou Holtz started his first year at ND as an experienced and successful coach. He went 5-6 in 1986 and was fortunate to beat USC on the road in the last game or it would have been 4-7.
