TRACKING THE PACK SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2023 ■ 13 "I felt really good about NC State after the official visits were done," said An- derson, who caught 64 passes for 1,254 yards and 11 touchdowns during his ju- nior season at Grimsley High. "I liked Tennessee a lot and I grew up around Michigan, but the official visit to NC State gave me a differ- ent feeling." In addition to the pass-catching duo, NC State earned commit- ments from five 2024 linemen in July and August, all of whom have received three stars in the On3 In- dustry Ranking. On the offensive side of the ball, the Pack landed Robby Martin of Huntington, W.Va., Trent Mitchell of Gastonia, N.C., and Tyler West of Andrews, N.C. Martin, listed at 6-3, 285 pounds, is the most highly rated player in that trio, checking in at No. 37 among interior offensive linemen nationally and No. 1 in West Virginia according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Martin chose NC State over West Virginia, Penn State and Maryland, citing his connection with Wolfpack offensive line coach Garett Tujague. "Coach Tujague and I built a strong relationship," he said. "It's been a good one, and I think we're building a bigger bond." Martin's commitment gives the Pack two of the top three prospects in West Virginia, with linebacker Can- non Lewis of Cabell Midland High in Huntington ranking third. On defense, NC State received verbal pledges from Josh Alexan- der-Felton of Orlando, Fla., and Justin Terrell of Rome, Ga. Alexan- der-Felton is the No. 83 defensive line prospect in the 2024 class and the No. 120 player in Florida, per the On3 Industry Ranking. Terrell is listed 99th among defensive line- men and 116th in Georgia. While NC State continues to as- semble its 2024 class, it's also work- ing to build that group's successor. On Aug. 12, the Pack received a commitment from tight end Gus Ritchey of Northwood High in Pittsboro, N.C. Ritchey is the No. 371 overall prospect and the No. 21 tight end in the 2025 class, as well as the No. 9 player in North Carolina, per the On3 Industry Ranking. ■ Etch your name into Wolfpack History WOLF TRACKS DONOR WALL Help fulfill the vision by leaving your legacy etched on the Wolf Tracks wall in the newly renovated Walk of Fame & History in Reynolds Coliseum. • Orders will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
