BLUEGOLDONLINE.COM MAY 2025 43 in 2015. There, he had completed 192 of 265 throws for 3,187 yards with 37 touchdowns as a senior. In 2017, Wimbush passed for 16 touch- downs and rushed for another 14 scores in leading the Irish to a 10-3 record, No. 11 ranking and a bowl victory over LSU. Dur- ing the 2018 season, he gave way to Ian Book as the Irish starter, then finished his college career at Central Florida in 2019. And while pro football was not in his future, Wimbush says he, like Martin, benefited greatly by the relationships formed while at Notre Dame. "I love all those guys," Wimbush said. "I was fortunate to be able to play with all of those guys. I look back on it, it's like one in a million. It's ridiculous the chance you get, the opportunities you get at that school — to be in those type of environ- ments, to play with those type of people. "It's hard for me to look back in hindsight and regret anything or try to change anything, because the life I live is so luxurious, compared to a lot of other people." Recently, Wimbush received a unique honor when he was named as one of Forbes Magazine's "30 Under 30" in the sports category. Since leaving football, Wimbush has served as co-founder and chief athletic officer at MOGL, a marketplace that con- nects businesses with NCAA athletes for NIL marketing deals. He now is vice pres- ident of strategic partnerships at Duael Track, where he will focus on the com- pany's growing relationships with athletes, sponsors, investors, and media companies. "Life is about balance," Wimbush says. "I'm grateful for my friends. I'm grateful to Notre Dame and my teammates. I'm grateful for my business partners and teams at MOGL and Duael Track. I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful to Forbes. I'm grateful for my health. And so much more. And cheers to at least try- ing to do good in the world." Notre Dame men making an impact on the world. It's a testament to the strength of the program. ✦ Your book order supports the Knute Rockne Memorial Society.
