COMMITMENT PROFILE FILM EVALUATION Strengths: Swenson is a physically imposing specimen. He has a naturally large build, already stands 6-5 and 290 pounds and could still be growing. By working in the next few offseasons, he should have a well toned physique by the time he arrives in college. He is also a naturally strong and quick-footed athlete. When he learns to harness those talents, he should be able to run and pass block equally well. Areas of Improvement: As is no surprise for such a young player, Swenson can work on his technique to harness his physical talents. He tends to duck his head in run blocking, losing sight of what's developing in front of him. He also stops his feet on contact at times. He will also have to develop a nasty streak to succeed at Michigan. All the physical talent and technique in the world can only take you so far, and he has to develop a killer's mentality to intimidate defenders. Former Player Comparison: Offensive tackle Michael Schofield (2009-present) is a physically talented lineman who needed to learn to take out his aggression on defenders early in his career. Swenson is likely to grow to Schofield's 6-7 height and is very similar to his fellow Chicago-area native. — Analysis from TheWolverine.com
