Best Vacation I Ever Took: "I went to Clearwater Beach in Florida when I was young, with my family, my uncle, my grandparents. I'm a big fan." — John Borton • Michigan's 75-67 win over Iowa at Crisler Center Jan. 22 gave the Wol- verines victories over two consecu- tive ranked opponents, the first time that has happened since the 1996-97 season. It also boosted Michigan's all- time series lead against the Hawk- eyes to 91-58, including a 51-22 mark in Ann Arbor. Michigan has won 11 of the last 13 games played between the teams at Crisler. • The Wolverines limited the Big Ten's highest-scoring team to 14.8 points below its season average. The 67 points matched Iowa's lowest to- tal of the year, which the Hawkeyes first achieved in a 67-57 win over Ne- braska Dec. 31. • Sophomore Nik Stauskas tied his career high with 26 points against the Hawkeyes. Classmate Glenn Robinson III snared nine rebounds, tying his ca- reer best in that category. • Sophomore Spike Albrecht made his first start of the season, with fresh- man Derrick Walton Jr. limited to just BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
