INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS
outs of it."
He finds the classes engaging on a
real-world level, which has made his
academic experience at Michigan a
rewarding one.
"I took a course that was based on
the conflict between Israel and Pal-
estine," he explained. " That was a
really interesting look at real-world
events. We ran a simulation, where
we worked as actors with big figures
in each community and tried to work
out a deal between the two countries.
That was a great class.
"I also really enjoyed Political Science
432, which is a game theory class. We
worked through game theory prob-
lems through a number of different
ways, analyzing world conflicts and
dealing with how countries approach
war, or what drives countries toward
war or peace agreements."
This summer, McCormack will study
for the LSAT, which he will take in Sep-
tember or October of his senior year.
From there, McCormack will apply for
law schools, with the goal of staying
in Ann Arbor to enroll in Michigan's
esteemed law school.
"I want to go into law," he said. "I am
not exactly sure what field I want to
work in, yet. That is something I will
have to explore when I get into law
school. Right now, I'm interested in
real estate and contract law, but we
will see where that goes when I get
more in depth."
