WHERE ARE THEY NOW? memory, Jackson admitted. "They were splitting in your face and doing all kinds of crazy things," he said. "Spitting in somebody's face is taking it way too far on a football field. "Right away, I learned that it's an intense rivalry, and there's not a lot of respect in that rivalry." Jackson gained the everlasting respect of Colts fans, a few years after becoming a first-round draft pick by the franchise in 2005. He made a most memorable pick of his own, intercepting a Tom Brady pass with 18 seconds remaining in the 2007 AFC title game, sealing the Colts' 38-34 victory. That put Indianapolis in the Super Bowl, which they won over Chicago. "That will always be one of the best memories I have," he said. "I get asked about it quite often. I still live near Indianapolis, and it's one of those things that changed my career, changed my life. You have things that will always live on and be lasting. Those things are irreplaceable. "I think back to the play, and I was only able to make the play because of my study habits. Recognizing formations, splits and all those things helped me to develop more instincts and be able to jump a route like that." Jackson has employed good instincts for a while now. He knew when to get out of football, and how to live without it. In addition to his foundation work, he's involved with the business venture PTS (Prepare To Succeed), helping college athletes transition to life beyond school. He's been there, and is doing it well. ❏ 1-800-421-7751 • www.TheWolverineOnDemand.com Michigan Wall Clock This Michigan football-theme clock features a high-quality quartz movement that has been tested for accuracy, so you'll never have to worry about being late to the stadium! • Turf-accented rim • Vivid "Block M" logo and graphics • Accurate quartz movement • Requires one AA battery (not included) • Measures approximately 10.5" in diameter • Made of durable plastic • Officially licensed collegiate product • Printed in the U.S.A. $24 95 plus $7.50 S&H Tax (NC 7.5%, IN 7%, MI 6%) Item #1404
