ALL-STAR GAMES AND CAMPS Played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Jan. 4 in San Antonio, Texas, where he started at right tackle for the East team and did not yield a sack in a 28-6 loss … Participated in the Pinellas County All-star game Dec. 12 in Clearwater, Fla., starting on the offensive line for a North squad that defeated the South 24-16. Tom Lemming of Prep Football Report: "When I looked at his film, I saw one of the best offensive linemen in the country. He's a road-grader who plays tackle and could also line up as a guard. He's a big, tough, aggressive guy. He dominated this year." Why Cole Chose Michigan: "I wanted to really get back up North and play in the Big Ten. It's important because of all the tradition." Head Coach's Comments: "You can't do anything without the guys up front, and he was a leader and the anchor of that," said East Lake coach Bob Hudson. "Probably from midway through his sophomore year, he was the one that made sure everything was right. He kept the guys working and was that presence there in the front. That's huge for any team offensively."
